Welcome to The Peanuts Gallery: Life Lessons from a Comic Strip

Hey there, fellow Peanuts enthusiasts! I’m Patricia Patts, known to many as a voice behind the ever-bold and fiercely independent Peppermint Patty in the beloved Peanuts cartoons. And I couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to our brand new podcast venture.

In The Peanuts Gallery, we’re diving deep into the psyche of those iconic characters we all know and love – from the eternally philosophical Charlie Brown to the irrepressibly imaginative Snoopy and beyond. But we’re not just here to reminisce about the antics of these endearing personalities; we’re here to explore the profound life lessons hidden within the panels of this timeless comic strip.

Join me as we unravel the complexities of the Peanuts gang and uncover how their experiences, struggles, and triumphs can resonate with us in the here and now. From navigating friendship and facing failure to embracing individuality and finding meaning in the mundane, there’s a wealth of wisdom waiting to be unearthed.

Throughout each episode, we’ll engage in lively discussions, share personal insights, and perhaps even unearth a few surprises along the way. So whether you’re a lifelong fan of Charles M. Schulz’s iconic creations or you’re just discovering the magic of Peanuts for the first time, I invite you to pull up a chair, grab a cup of cocoa or a foamy root beer and enjoy!

Patricia Patts

Voice actor for Peppermint Patty, Patricia began her professional acting career at age 6. She also starred in the title role in Annie in 1978-1979 in the 2nd National Tour, which is where Sparky and Lee saw her and knew she would be the quintessential Peppermint Patty. She continued acting until her 30’s when she moved to Nashville to pursue music. As a songwriter she has had several cuts, owned a songwriters studio, graduated Belmont University in Music Business and songwriting all while a single mom and working. At the end of 2019, she began booking Comic Cons, and then… well… you know what happened. She’s excited to be starting this fun new adventure, while still attending comic cons around the country.
